These cables will only work with a Display Port source that supports dual mode. They symbol for a dual mode source would have two plus signs to the left of the Display Port symbol. Please note: These cables are designed to connect a DVI monitor or screen to a Display Port video port. They won’t work backwards, doesn’t work from a Display Port screen to a DVI video port.
