This adapter is wired crossed as follows;

For a straight through adapter, please see our RJ1106F-F. RJ11 connectors with 2, 4 or 6 pins will work with this adapter. The pins on these connectors are always centered, so the crossed design will match with all types of connectors. However, the skinny connector made for phone handsets will not work with this. Since we normally stock these adapters as straight through, we mark the crossed ones as shown to keep them from being mixed with the straight ones.
