These adapters pass the audio signal along with the video signal provided the Display Port device has its audio output enabled. Please note: These adapters are designed to connect a HDMI monitor or screen to a Display Port video port. They won’t work backwards, doesn’t work from a Display Port screen to a HDMI video port.
